... but the Dawgs are still predicted to beat Tech by 10.
Bridge will take a back seat for awhile as it’s rivalry week in college football and I have no bridge tournaments in the plans until the Charleston New Year’s regional. The fall NABC starts tomorrow in San Francisco and it’ll be the first NABC I am not in attendance for since fall 2008. It seems as though I’ll actually be watching the Georgia-Georgia Tech game with Georgia fans in Athens. Why do my Tech friends not come for football games anymore?

Anyway, what’s more likely is I’ll spend Saturday afternoon playing with dogs and keeping track of the game on my phone. I don’t know. I guess there’s not really any plan and I’m okay with that, for a change. Ooh, that reminds me, I meant to get Winter a GT outfit to wear Saturday but haven’t gotten around to that. I’ll add that to the reasons I need to go to Atlanta on Friday – I can’t find one around here but the GT book store ought to have one.
My computer only picked UGA to win by 10, 35-25, while the Dawgs are officially 14 point favorites. My computer really doesn’t respect UGA as they are only #13 but #3 in the BCS rankings. Last week, we came back into the win column as my computer beat the spread on 11 out of the 18 top 25 games that didn’t involve an FCS school. That puts it at 57.5% for the season, by far its best showing ever. It correctly picked underdog UCLA over USC and Rutgers over Cincinnati.
